The aFe stage 2 cold air intake is used for the 2012-2013 Jeep Wrangler outflows the factory intake system by 48 percent for maximum performance gains of 12 horsepower and 13 pounds x feet of torque. This intake utilizes a highly engineered one-piece heat-shield that requires minimal assembly for ease of installation. A heat-insulating, rotomolded plastic intake tube and a 3-angle adaptor improves volumetric efficiency for maximum performance while lowering intake air temps (I.A.T). Handling the filter duties is an oil-free Pro DRY S synthetic media, washable/reusable, 360 degree radial flow air filter that provides maximum convenience while still retaining high filtration and airflow. Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle free installation. This intake system is made in the USA. 5-1/2 inch 360 degree air filter. This intake utilizes 5-1/2 inch Pro Dry S performance air filters for maximum flow. This 3-layer progressive, non-oiled synthetic air filter requires no oils for cleaning for maximum convenience. Dyno tested intake tube.– The intake tube is designed to maximize air velocity and is dyno tested and flowed using the latest engineering tools for maximum one-piece filter housing.
